This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected in the Élevé Recovery mobile application (the “App”). The App is developed and maintained by Alacrity Consulting Services, LLC (“Developer,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) on behalf of the nonprofit organization Élevé Recovery (“Client”).

By using the App, users (“you”) agree to this Privacy Policy.

Client:
Élevé Recovery
A nonprofit organization supporting survivors of violence and individuals in recovery.

Alacrity Consulting Services provides hosting, software maintenance, and cloud integrations for the App, while Élevé Recovery determines what data is collected from users and how it is used.

2. Information We Collect

The App minimizes personal data collection. The following categories of information may be processed:
• Account Data:
Basic profile data such as email address, display name, and non-identifying avatar selection (emoji or image).
• App Usage Data:
Preferences, notifications, and interaction logs to improve reliability.
• Calendar and Schedule Data:
Calendar events you choose to view or add (from your device’s calendar or a shared schedule).
• Messages and Reports:
Content you submit via in-app messaging or incident reporting features, stored securely in Firebase.
• Device Data:
Push notification tokens and anonymized diagnostics (e.g., app version, crash reports).

The App does not access or collect GPS location, contact lists, or financial data.

3. How Information Is Used

Information is processed for the following purposes:
• To deliver app features such as scheduling, messaging, and safety alerts.
• To send optional push notifications and calendar reminders.
• To maintain secure operations and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal or safety obligations when required by the Client or law enforcement.

Developer does not sell or share personal data for advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

• Data is hosted through Firebase, Google Cloud, and Amazon Web Services (S3).
• All communication is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
• Sensitive data such as incident reports and internal communications are restricted to authorized program staff.
• Alacrity Consulting Services maintains server and API security but does not access user data except for maintenance or troubleshooting with the Client’s authorization.

5. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as required to operate the App or as directed by Élevé Recovery. Incident reports and safety logs may be retained per applicable nonprofit or legal retention standards.

6. User Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
• Access or request a copy of your data.
• Request deletion or correction.
• Withdraw consent for notifications or data sharing.
• Revoke calendar or storage permissions on your device.

Requests should be sent to privacy@eleverecovery.org (Client) or support@alacritycs.com (Developer for technical matters).

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for registered participants of Élevé Recovery programs and is not designed for general public use. If a minor’s information is submitted in error, contact support@alacritycs.com for prompt deletion.

8. Third-Party Services

The App may connect to external services such as:
• Google Calendar, Sheets, and Firebase (for events, forms, and authentication).
• Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) for iOS notifications.
• Amazon S3 for secure hosting of images and policy documents.

These third parties operate under their own privacy terms.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy as needed. Material changes will be posted within the App or on the hosting website.

If you are a participant using the app through a referring nonprofit or foundation, please contact that organization directly regarding your account, access, or program participation.
The app itself does not manage individual user accounts or provide direct program support.
